2/19/16

Today was pretty good. I went to Best Buy and bought an animated Batman Movie Blu-Ray special edition and a Nintendo eShop card with a Photos with Mario and AR card. I used the funds to buy the last of the streetpass games. I finished Regular Show on hulu. Now I'm going to start Totally Spies, or Inspector Gadget. I haven't figured out what I'm going to start marathoning next. I did DDR at the arcade by Best Buy. I'm slowly putting my name on every song on that machine. Because there was credits already in the machine I ended up doing the dual floor mode. That was hard. I had a phone interview scheduled for 3 PM, but ended up taking it at about 5:30 because the interviewer had some trouble getting to a phone. Later.

Why Cartoons AREN'T Just for Kids

Comment I left on the video:
This is great. I'm quite glad that I never comprehended the social stigma of cartoons being "for kids" and "you don't want to be remotely childish," even as a teen. I had a friend that gave me a hard time for liking cartoons and anime "because they were for kids." I was always like "so, they're good." Eventually I asked him "what should I be watching then," and he listed off a couple boring TV dramas and Disney Channel zitcoms (this was in like 2006 or '07, so the lowest point Disney Channel every was). To which I replied "you have the nerve to call my cartoons bad when you watch Disney Channel crap. My stuff is at least well written and fun. That stuff is ACTUALLY for kids and little girls."
